Hello everyone!
Today was a great day for us! We slept in, had breakfast, and made our way to the NaturaGart diving park.
When we arrived there, the lady at the reception wanted to know if we had made a reservation - of course not...! At that point, we thought it was all over... But we were lucky! After quickly getting a trolley, we headed to the dive station in the park with our diving gear. We were instructed by Thomas, who was really funny and explained the rules of the park in a humorous way. There was a chain around the diving area, which was explained to us as follows: "it's not to lock you in, but to keep the non-divers out. Otherwise, they would wander around here confused, and when we finish work, we would have to lure them out with dry bread." Yeah, he was really funny :). And that's how the whole briefing went. Then we could put on our equipment and off we went! We entered the water comfortably through a staircase, and thanks to the underwater map we received at the beginning, the adventure began. Just a few meters in, we encountered a huuuge sturgeon! Thomas had mentioned earlier that they usually hang out near the temple. Of course, that was our first destination :).
When we arrived there, it was bustling with these giant fish. Many of them were, without exaggeration, about two meters long and 40 centimeters wide! They looked like sharks with their teeth pulled out. Really awesome! They were very curious and circled around us multiple times. We spent most of our time there because these creatures fascinated us so much. We dove a little further through a cave system - and of course, my flashlight went out just then.... But it wasn't a big deal. Sunlight kept seeping in, and our eyes quickly adjusted to the darkness. On the way back, we even swam through a sunken wreck before heading to the exit. The whole experience was really a lot of fun! If tomorrow weren't already planned, we would have definitely added another dive. But since it was already 4 PM and we had another two-hour drive ahead of us, we started heading back slowly. Once everything was packed up again, we continued on to Lake Hennesee. It's 20 minutes away from the mine and promised a nice spot for the night. We almost circled the lake in search of the perfect spot. We didn't find the perfect one, but a very nice one :).
We had a delicious dinner and then dedicated ourselves to reviewing today's pictures. Boy, were there a lot of them! Hopefully, you'll like them ;).
Well, now it's past midnight, and we're definitely calling it a day :).
See you tomorrow, dear ones!
By the way... not all the pictures are loading again... The rest will follow tomorrow evening ;)
