Krk

Krk is completely surrounded by walls. There are four gates leading into the city. Over 3000 years ago, it was the center of the island with the same name. It is located on the west coast of the island Krk and is the most beautiful city on the island for us.

When you enter through the city walls, you will find yourself in the picturesque streets that are typical of Croatian cities. The Franciscan monastery from 1277 is definitely one of the most important historical buildings.

We really like Krk, in stark contrast to the neighboring town of Baska. It is an ideal holiday destination for families and for those seeking tranquility outside the season.
