At 3 p.m. I was finally able to go to my room. When I arrived there were still other guests arriving, but the staff was still friendly. And the room is also really nice: there is a living room, sink, bathroom with a bathtub and a large comfortable bed. There is also a television and an air conditioning unit that doesn't seem to work properly. It was already set to the highest setting and it was still very hot in the room. I checked again and unfortunately the reservation didn't say anything about air conditioning. A mistake that will not happen to me with further bookings. Anyway, I quickly went to the pool. It was also very small, making swimming almost impossible, but it cools you down and you have a nice view. There are loungers and a cafeteria. I spent an hour in the pool and when the clouds were there, it got cold, which could also be because the pool is on the 7th floor. And so I took a hot shower straight after. Then I rested in bed and thought about what I would do tomorrow. I like it in Peru, without question, but sometimes I feel like a home shit and think that being home would be nice too. Somehow there aren't really any supermarkets and the small shops have high prices. You can say that the exchange rate is 4:1, so 4 soles are equivalent to 1€. And the prices have already gone down when a bag of chips costs 15 soles, which is almost €4. But I don't want to be so upset about money on vacation anymore. Now just taking the cheapest thing or buying dry rolls doesn't help either. I really need to be more relaxed. Of course, always keep the overall picture in mind and of course only if I can afford it. I also got a slight sunburn on my shoulders, which is why I won't go out without sunscreen anymore. On every trip there are sometimes thoughtful tones and you question everything, but before that gets out of hand, I got dressed and went out.
