Ísafjarðarbær - Þingeyraroddi Camping Ground

September 4th, 2023: According to the weather report, it should be a sunny day; So we got up early (for our standards), i.e. breakfast at around 7.30 and then set off on the 624 over a very beautiful pass to a new fjord: Isafjardarfbaer. Unfortunately the sun didn't last long and we found ourselves moving through fog and drizzle. So Isafjördur again for shopping (there is a good bakery there) and then back to the camping in Pingeyri. Do laundry, take a walk along the fjord, cook bird hay and then to top off the day with a visit to the adjacent bathroom with hot pool. These pools prove to be a good opportunity to talk to locals too.
