After a great birthday that I spent as planned with Matthias in the city and went out for drinks with the Erasmus girls in the evening, the introduction activities continued.
From January 26th to January 28th, an 'Integration Weekend' organized by the Erasmus organization of my university took place. The motto and goal of the whole thing, who would have thought, was to get to know people and have fun. We set off by bus towards Piedralaves in the afternoon, where we moved into our cabins in a camp in the forest. I myself lived in a 10-bed room with some of the girls I had already met. There were a total of four showers available for 64 people, two for the boys and two for the girls. That was definitely a new experience :D. All in all, despite the extreme cold, we had a great time there, which was characterized by little sleep and layered outfits against the temperatures. Unfortunately, I also didn't manage to overcome my fear of heights in the climbing forest. Maybe soon...
On the last day, after two nights of partying, we took a city trip to Ávila. Another very beautiful, historically interesting Spanish city. Due to the extremely intelligent planning, you may have seen a little less of it than would have been possible with more sleep, but we still had a relaxed, sunny day there.
Arriving back in Madrid around 9pm, I fell tired into bed after a portion of fries at McDonald's.
