14.07.2023 I set off towards Ulan-Ude and accidentally came across the Baikal-Siberia Paradise, which is a 150 km drive. The vastness of the lake was like a sea in front of me, the waves crashing like those of a sea on a desolate, several kilometers long pebble beach, and the wind made the heat pleasant. I set up camp 7 meters above the beach in a birch forest, from where I could overlook the lake. Awesome! I went for a quick swim (brrrrr), spent the night, and enjoyed the sunrise and sunset. I had to go for another swim at 6 a.m., despite the outside temperature being 10 degrees Celsius. It had to be done. But now, I really have to continue south.
