Corfu (Corfu Town)

Since the weather was again variable, we decided to have a city day. Unfortunately, three cruise ships also made that decision, so the town was quite crowded between 11 AM and 3 PM. Before and after that, it was okay.

Apart from the typical sights, like the two fortresses and the Faliraki complex, we wandered a lot through the sometimes very narrow streets. Some parts are completely lined with tourist shops on both sides, but there are also a few 'untouched' ones.

In the evening we were quite exhausted. When we sat down for dinner at the restaurant, a massive thunderstorm erupted, trapping us there for almost 3 hours.

Despite the mediocre weather and the many people, we quite liked the town.
