During our short stop in Jaipur, we took a small tour to the Amber Palace. It is a really beautiful and large palace where we could explore the old rooms and hidden corners. I even saw an ambulance in one of the large courtyards. ;)
We also passed through the pink city once, but I was very disappointed because you can't really understand where the name comes from. Here, too, you can find all sorts of things for sale on the street. Packed chickens, fruits and vegetables, fish, eggs... and of course, everything right next to the road in the scorching sun all day long. Our rickshaw driver even took us to an elephant farm and a traditional tailor. We returned to the hostel amidst the noise and stench of the city.
In the morning, we had to go to the train station early to catch the train to Agra. As usual, we were very punctual, found the right platform, checked the train number, coach number, and seat number, and boarded the train to wait for departure. It's normal for us to not leave on time, but after a while, it started to feel strange, and we wanted to double-check everything. It turned out that something had changed and the train had already departed from somewhere else.. So there we were.. in Jaipur at the train station.. without any contact, without a plan...
