A diverse country with stunning and varied landscapes, great wine, and wild animals.
If you travel to South Africa, I recommend a visit to the Kruger National Park: it is huge and really great! You can easily spend several days here. But the smaller parks are also remarkable! So if you have time, why not visit both? 😉
Here you have the "big city feeling" with sightseeing, good food, but you can also go hiking (Lion's Head). And of course, you should not forget the 'Cape of Good Hope': this is where the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean meet!
You definitely have to visit the wine region in Stellenbosch. There you can go on a wine tour or visit wineries on your own, for example Boschendal. The landscape here is really amazing!
The Garden Route is fantastic and the beaches are so varied; they range from the typical beaches (compared to Spain) to our German North Sea beaches with sand dunes.
Good stops here: surfing in Jeffreys Bay, Knysna is good for adventurers (climbing, bungee jumping, etc.) and in Hermanus you can see the whales from the breakfast table!
I can only recommend this country - it's definitely worth a trip!
