Robben-Kajakfahren & Sandwich Harbour

We are going to Pelican Point, where the kayaking starts right away: It's amazing how close the seals are. Such playful, friendly animals! We keep getting wet because they splash us while jumping. That's why: I took off my pants to dry and used Flo's life jacket as a skirt. 🤙🏼

After that, we continue to drive on the dunes. However, not without a guide, because firstly it's quite dangerous if you have no idea how the car behaves in the sand and secondly, our car insurance would completely drop out if anything were to happen. On the way there, we pass by a salt mine - the high salt mountains and the pink water inspire us.

When we arrive at the dunes, we are blown away - breathtaking!! It feels somewhat surreal to stand up there and let our eyes wander. Simply WOW! Unexpectedly, there's a delicious meal with champagne and oysters - luxurious decadence 😅 but since trying is better than studying, we now know: Flo finds oysters okay, I don't like them at all 🙊

The day is an absolute highlight!!
