Our third day together in Gothenburg, it's Pentecost Sunday, starts sunny. We have decided to go out into nature today, to the Gothenburg archipelago, after yesterday's city walk.
It's very easy and doesn't cost much. With a day ticket from Västtrafik (costs 11.50 euros), you can travel by bus and train all day in Gothenburg and also use the ferries to the islands! The ticket is purchased online. Taking the bus and train can be incredibly easy.
Also, I haven't even used cash in Denmark and Sweden. I haven't taken any with me either. Every coffee, purchase, etc. is paid by mobile phone.
We enjoy the trip through the Baltic Sea along the islands.
We go ashore on the island of Styrsö and stroll leisurely around the island.
In the meantime, Lucia is already practicing for the new show performance of the Emser Bazillen.
Before we leave the island, we enjoy a good coffee and Snikerskakka.
On the ferry back to Gothenburg, I discover a beautiful memory of our boys' childhood.
We used to read this book to the children over and over again. It's nice that it made it all the way to Sweden.
