What an odyssey. After Jan got a bad case of lumbago while packing on Sunday evening and I sat behind the wheel for eight hours on Monday (because of course we had to deal with the complete closure on the A44) to drive to Philipp and Steffi in Grevenbroich, we finally arrived in Olbia.
At 32 degrees we move into our four-bed room in Olbia and start the big repacking campaign in order to be able to live efficiently on campsites. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a gas bottle for our camping stove in the various supermarkets, but we stocked up on the rest of the basics. After the first Sardinian arrival beer, we set off towards the old town.
Olbia City isn't really anything special. A nice little town with a harbor and the usual tourist food traps. Us normal people eat a fancy pinsa in the evening, Jan shoots the bird and orders fish noodles, filled with fish and swimming in fish sauce. He wasn't happy, but once again confirmed my belief that fish is simply not edible.
And because we all have to get to our vacation first, we fall into bed at 9:30 p.m., tired and tired.
