Sabrina and I took the train to Menton late in the morning. This city is famous for its lemons. As a lemon lover, I've come to the right place. In the city there were many small shops with a thousand things with lemons on them, of course a lot of things that no one needs, for example aprons with lemons on them. Even I don't buy something like that.
We first went to a creperia to fortify ourselves. There were unusual crepes. I then decided on a crepe with mushrooms, bacon and egg. Didn't look good, but was really tasty.
Afterwards we strolled around the city and I bought this and that. Among other things, I bought two bottles of rum that look really nice as decoration (see picture). I skipped the lemon perfume 1. because Cindy doesn't like lemons (which I personally can't understand) and 2. I can't smell anything at the moment anyway.
This little town was really beautiful and I'm glad we stayed another day before heading off to Italy.
My conclusion about France 🇫🇷:
No matter where you were, everyone was nice and (since I am known to have no talent in speaking French) could speak English well, even with hands and feet if necessary. I'll definitely come back again
Au revoir France 🇫🇷
