Just a little addition to Brandenburg an der Havel. What does this city have in common with Prague? It has a beautiful cityscape and is completely unsuitable for cyclists. Cobbled streets and tram tracks make riding on two wheels a fight for survival. Today we took it a bit slower and set ourselves a distance of just under 80 km to Neuruppin. It wasn't as hot anymore and it was mostly cloudy in the morning, so quite pleasant conditions. The literary highlight of this stage was the town of Ribbeck, known for Theodor Fontane's poem about Herr Ribbeck von Ribbeck. Just before Fehrbellin, we did a good deed on the tour. We successfully helped two cycling tourists in dealing with a flat tire. We met them again shortly afterwards at an ice cream café in Fehrbellin. A few kilometers further, we arrived at Lake Ruppiner and used the first bathing spot for refreshment.
