Flown from the north to the south 🛩

Today we started early! At 7:30 a.m., our taxi was waiting in front of the hotel. Departure to Chiang Rai Airport, from there at 9:45 a.m. to Bangkok, and then from Bangkok at 12:15 p.m. to Phuket ✈️🙃!

When we arrived at the airline counter at 8:00 a.m., the national anthem played over the loudspeaker and everything and everyone stood still for 1 minute😌!

The flights were very pleasant and both flights took no longer than 2 hours. Nevertheless, they served us with great food! Our airlines could take a hint from that 😬!

At Phuket airport, we first booked our hotel 🙃😬! This time it's a spa resort 🤗! It's located away from the hustle and bustle and we plan to relax here for 3 days before heading to the islands 🌴😜!

When we arrived at the resort, we were served a 'feel-good tea' 🙈! Then we received flower bracelets and a refreshing towel 😃! After that, a staff member led us to our room 😂! The room is spacious and she took us out to the terrace. There, we found our spa bathroom 🙉, with an outdoor shower, a large round tub, and a huge lounge area on the terrace 🙈! It's amazing 🙃!

Then we went back inside the room and the staff member kneeled in front of a table with several items. She offered us 4 small samples for our pillows 🙉. Which ones would we like to have? I looked at Daniela in disbelief 😬! The process continued with body lotion, hand soap, and shower gel! We could choose from 4 samples each time! 😀 Luckily, Daniela kept a straight face, otherwise I would have burst out laughing 🤣! Quite an ordeal 😆!

Well, we freshened up and went to the beach 😀. It's very beautiful. It's super long and also very wide! We watched the sunset 🌅 and then returned to the resort!

In the meantime, the room had been serviced! Everything was brought exactly as we had chosen, and there was even a slimming tea waiting for us 😂. Daniela joked if they think we're overweight 🤣? Well, cheers!

Hopefully, they also have a great breakfast - I'm curious what awaits me tomorrow morning. I'm already hungry 😬😬😬😬🙈! Good night 😴!
