Today a very family-friendly national park. A short walk through one of the oldest and smallest national parks in Sweden.
If you want to explore the old part, you have the choice between a two and a three kilometer round that leads through the primeval forest on boardwalks or as a dirt trail.
So we set off on the first wide path (wheelchair accessible!) and read the information brochure as we walk...
'The Hamra National Park has the highest bear density of all national parks in Sweden' ok... bears and not berries... So we cover most of the distance singing 😂
We did not see Mr. Bear, but we definitely heard him. Or maybe just our imagination... Who knows? 🐻
