1st stage Irun to San Sebastian

..... slept well.

The city is waking up and so am I. My accommodation is located on a busy street. It's only 06:00; I turn around and listen to the many sounds on the street.

Shortly after 08:00, I start the first stage of my Camino after a good breakfast. I buy some fruit for the way.

Shortly after Irun, I turn off Komoot on my smartphone; somehow gives me a better feeling.....freedom, independence, and adventure...well.

At 10:00, I take my first break, hoping that most of the uphill sections are already behind me.

One thing is already clear, the uphill path was definitely the right decision.

Well, not all the meters of ascent were behind me; it goes up, then down, and up again --------- like the path of life.

At the end of my stage, I reach the beautiful town of San Sebastian. 2 great beaches dominate the way to the youth hostel; they look spectacular and there are hardly any people on the beach.

Everything worked out with the youth hostel today.
