So ey! On the last full day, I went to the Batu Caves with Jess, where there is a small temple. It can be reached via a steep staircase where countless monkeys frolic. Finally wild monkeys and stuff (by the way, my favorite picture so far). Contrary to all warnings, they were not as evil and thieving as expected. Actually, you shouldn't look at them evilly or provoke them. Because then the bastards get angry and form 'dangerous' groups. We also went to the Dark Caves. It was a tour with only flashlights as there is no natural or artificial light there. When we were told which animals we would encounter, I wanted to discreetly run away backwards. But we had already paid for it. I survived it... but it was really dark. When we turned off all the flashlights for 30 seconds, you could really see NOTHING.
In the evening, I went to the Irish Pub with Jess and a girl from Korea. We had steak pie and cider there. Both at ridiculously European prices :D ... I also spent the night in an 8-bed dorm for €6 with the two of them in the hostel.
The next afternoon, after a lot of travel stress (because I initially went to the wrong train station), I finally ended up in the right bus and drove for 3.5 hours to the Cameron Highlands.
I'm here for a few days now. Today, I didn't do much because the place is very small, there's nothing going on, and it rained a lot. I hope to go on a jungle tour tomorrow. The guide I actually wanted for this is currently on vacation :-( Let's see what happens....
