Aha. Cloudy and very windy. Later it was so stormy that a straw blind was lost. Ergo, no pool day!
So we pay Aiola the obligatory visit and buy some wine and Bettina & Christian nine (9!) bottles of grappa.
Then we quickly head to Florence to do some shopping. It's incredibly humid there and luckily only partly sunny. At the Piazza Michelangelo car park, there's a drunken, probably self-appointed parking attendant who impudently holds out his hand. 10 euros! Whatever, it's my good deed for today. He should enjoy the wine - or whatever he's drinking.
So we trot for hours, kilometer after kilometer through the city and look in at least 100 shoe shops. Florence is the shoe city par excellence. And lo and behold, Christian finds exactly the same slippers as mine and in the cathedral square they even cost the same amount. I buy a red vest with a subtle ENERGY sticker and Bettina buys shoes too.
So we drag ourselves exhausted to the car and drive home briefly to pay for our accommodation and then, as is tradition, to the Three Musketeers for dinner.

Journey home to Graz. Finally back with my sweetheart.
