Well-rested and after a good breakfast, we set off in the morning towards Etosha National Park. After about 200 km, we checked into our very nice Toshari Lodge. Eager for our first impressions, we then continued along the same dusty paths towards Okaukuejo. Police checks included, entering the park. We registered and headed towards the waterholes for our first wildlife observations. Zebras, gazelles, springboks (very delicious ;-)), oryx antelopes, a hyena, giraffes, and elephants were the first results of our first outing.
Back at the lodge, we had a quick dip in the pool and then enjoyed a delicious meal. Now, the day ends with a whiskey.... soon it's off to bed so we can continue our journey across Etosha National Park tomorrow, well-rested. Good night and see you soon. Christoph and Frank...
