We didn't have much time for shore leave this time. The shuttle bus left at 10:00 a.m. and we were supposed to be back on board by 2:30 p.m. at the latest. Then the bus took a little over thirty minutes each way. Well, that was just enough time to look around a large shopping center called Aeon.
Just for fun, I looked for shoes and found some, but they were more than three times the price of what they had cost in the high street the day before. It was a good thing I didn't have to buy them.
There is a very large supermarket in the shopping center with a huge selection. Since the ship's rules state that I can only bring machine-packaged products on board, I limited my purchases to all kinds of chips, e.g. with garlic-scampi flavor or "inkfish" flavor. I'm curious to see if they taste good.
Instead of waiting for the last available shuttle bus, I saved myself the stress by taking an earlier one.
After lunch on board, I went to the cinema to see the film "Thor: Ragnarok". The ironic moments made the film somewhat worth watching.
In the theater that evening, Chinese artists showed almost unbelievable acts of strength, acrobatics and balance under the title "Ballet on Shoulders".
