My goal today was to visit Piha, a 2.5-hour drive from Auckland. Piha is located next to Auckland in a beautiful bay surrounded by forests. The village consists of a few houses and a store, a cafe near the campground, and that's about it. Oh, wait, there's also a bowling club! Haha. I went to the campground as soon as I arrived. Unfortunately, I couldn't do much because it was raining heavily and stormy.

The weather today was a little better than yesterday. So, I decided to go for a hike on the Kitekite Track leading to the Kitekite Waterfall. It was a great hike, very beautiful and well-maintained. The waterfall was okay, I've seen more beautiful ones. After an hour, I returned back. Next, I visited Lions Rock at Piha Beach. It was incredibly beautiful, with a stunning beach covered in black sand. Later, I went for a jog along the coast, jogged up to Lions Rock again, and returned to the campground. In the evening, I went to see the sunset, but unfortunately, it wasn't very clear due to the clouds. I spent another night at the same campground. The craziest thing happened that day. It was sunny and beautiful, and suddenly, within a minute, dark clouds appeared, it started raining heavily and windy. And just a minute later, it was clear and sunny again. This happened throughout the day.
