We spent the first day in Noosa at Sunshine Beach, arriving with bodyboards against the waves. The waves were very big and seemed to take everything with them. Bodyboarding was a lot of fun, but we swallowed a lot of water when we didn't catch a wave the way we wanted. After that, we sunbathed for a while and enjoyed the day. We were especially happy to finally be able to go into the water. Without jellyfish! However, I have to say: I did see a small blue jellyfish... but everyone ignored it.
We dedicated the second day to Noosa National Park. We walked along the Coastal Walk and even saw a dolphin. Along the walk, we saw many surfers, whom we observed for a while. Our surf course is only in Byron Bay, but you can already learn a lot by watching. Afterwards, we spent a few minutes in downtown Noosa Heads. Then we started our way back. Ben stayed at the beach. We ended the evening by playing dice games.
We spent the third and last day in Noosa lazing at the beach. The weather was nice and the waves were even better for bodyboarding.
In general, you can say that Noosa is a very popular vacation destination, especially for Australian families. The town was almost overcrowded. The restaurants were very full from morning to evening. Since the streets were also very crowded, the regional bus company offers free rides in the summer months to reduce traffic. So we could easily get from A to B.
