Hermie's Man Flu and Magnetic Island

Tihchhuah a ni: 12.12.2019

When we picked up Hermie, we noticed that he is no longer the youngest and not in the best condition.

However, due to the leaky windows and doors, he caught a nasty cold in the last few days, which almost proved fatal for him as a man flu.

The first symptom was the blockage of the third gear. With a lot of patience and especially finesse, we managed to fix it and thought he was getting better. However, yesterday he had such a severe setback that we immediately went to a workshop after an SOS to save Hermie's life. The fuel gauge, turn signal, and hazard lights no longer work. These are clear signs of a man flu, which we all know is no joke.

The two mechanics were already waiting for us, equipped with measuring devices and tools.

After an hour of worrying, despair, examinations, and measurements, we finally received the relieving news: The problem has been fixed, Hermie will survive the man flu, and we can continue our journey.

Happy and relieved, we then made our way to the ferry to go to Magnetic Island.

It is definitely worth a day trip! Due to the circumstances in the morning, we only had half a day, but we made the most of it.

On a trail recommended by some, we saw koalas in the wild and enjoyed a fantastic view of the island and the deep blue sea.
