Melaka-ah Argies a awm

Last weekend I went to Melaka/Malakka/Malacca (the city has quite a few spellings ^^). The only appointment that was already set when I wasn't even here yet. The reason for that was the Argies, and that they played in Melaka on Saturday. After they played in KL on Friday as well. There in a club on the 18th floor. Awesome concert, then went for a delicious meal, it got pretty late. That's why I was really glad that I booked the bus at 12:00 o'clock! But that also meant that I didn't arrive at the hostel until around 3 pm. After waiting for someone to check in for a long time, there wasn't much of the day left. However, outside it felt like 40 degrees and full sun, so it would have been more difficult to explore the city anyway. So we went for a delicious meal in a really cool restaurant (see pictures) and then walked a little bit through the city. And then it was time for the second concert. Unfortunately, it wasn't really crowded, and the sound wasn't that great either, but I still loved it! Then walked through the city a bit and went for a drink. Sunday there was a farewell 'breakfast' (around 12) with the band, and then I went back into town. However, Melaka is not that big, so the afternoon was enough for the most important things to see. Including an Indian dance show and a visit to the Taming Sari Tower, a way to overlook Melaka from above (see pictures again). Overall, it was a nice weekend, even though I liked Georgetown better, but the concerts made everything much cooler ;)
