Day 8 - Departure to the Westfjords

The morning of the 8th day was marked by very bad weather...

On the 8th day, we started our journey through the Westfjords. Due to the weather, we did not want to get into a hot pot in Drangsnes.

On the way, we witnessed a brilliant action by an off-road vehicle. It wanted to overtake a car in front of us at high speed, causing the car to sway, skid, and fly down the slope on the left for 1.5 meters. The occupants must have had more than one guardian angel, as the car landed on its wheels and did not overturn. Only the car was slightly damaged.

During the drive, we discovered a waterfall where we spontaneously took some funny photos. It was very amusing.

Afterwards, we discovered a small farm (Litlibaer) with grass roofs, which is no longer inhabited but now serves as a museum.

In the evening, we drove to a lighthouse and a small fishing village in Isafjördur.
