Tulum - Day 18

Before leaving Mérida today to head to Tulum, I visited the Gran Museo del Mundo Maya. The museum provides an insightful look into the lifestyle of the Maya people. Many traditions are still practiced in Yucatán today, and the language is still spoken.

Afterwards, I embarked on the approximately 240km journey through the jungle and arrived at my tent hotel in Tulum in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the sea has washed up a lot of seaweed on the beach, which makes swimming a bit unpleasant. But the beach club is great and my tent is extremely cozy!

Now, I will enjoy the sun, the beach, and the sea for a few more days and just relax...
