Bus all day

Today was very quiet! After last night and not getting enough sleep, we were looking forward to breakfast and after checking out of the hotel we were taken by bus to the station, where we boarded the public bus that took us to Cuenca. With short breaks, we were on the road for 8.5 hours and used the journey to sleep, journal, listen to music, read, etc. Unfortunately, it rained all day, so when we looked out the window we mostly only saw fog. After arriving in Cuenca, after a few minutes I set off for dinner with Monika and Callie and then through the surrounding streets. Tomorrow we have the whole day to explore the city of Cuenca before we board the night bus at around 7:30 p.m. that takes us across the Ecuadorian-Peruvian border to Máncora.
