City exploration

On our first full day at the other end of the world, we explored New Zealand's biggest city. As it was 20°C and sunny today, we decided to do a walking tour. Albert Park near the university was a particular highlight, as it provided an ideal opportunity to enjoy the sun with its many plants and trees.

In the evening, we walked to Mount Eden and had a stunning view of the illuminated city in the darkness.

Tomorrow we will continue to the next city, Whangarei in Northland.
