Los Angeles -> New York

5000 kilometers. That's exactly what the counter told us when we returned the rental car at 4:00 am local time this morning.

After that, we went straight to the terminal and off to New York City. We started at 7:00 am and after five hours of flying, we landed at John F. Kennedy Airport in Queens. With luggage and dark circles under our eyes, we took the train and the subway straight to the heart of the city. First short glimpse of the city = unbelievable. Lots of people - everything loud and hectic.
