See Osaka
This morning it started. I really liked Kyoto, so saying goodbye was difficult for me. The city with its thousand shrines and its atmosphere that didn't seem so big had captivated me and that's why saying goodbye was also difficult for me. After that, I continued from Kyoto Station to Osaka by train. After less than half an hour, I arrived at Osaka Station and the size of Osaka can be compared to Tokyo. So my first impression was a lot of people, a lot of high-rise buildings, very loud, and the individual person appears very small as a result. I longed for Kyoto with its smaller style. But first, I arrived at the hotel, so I thought. Unfortunately, I was only able to check in at 3pm. So I made the best of the situation and went to eat at a typical backyard restaurant, where I had Crispy Chicken with rice and miso soup, along with a small salad, it was really delicious. Then back to the hotel and I could finally settle into my room on the 19th floor. And I felt homesick, honestly, I noticed it today. And that's a good thing. Then I set off and set myself a goal that shines over Osaka: Osaka Castle. After 30 minutes of walking and a bit of train ride, I finally arrived and was very happy to sit in the shadow of the castle for about two hours, to write in my diary, and to relax and make further plans for Osaka. For tomorrow, I rented a bicycle, the city invites you to explore it by the river, and there are no big mountains, so you can cover many kilometers. Tonight, I want to take a quick stroll through the famous neighborhood in Osaka, Dotonbori. I'm curious to see what awaits me here.
