Goodbye, Hanoi. Monday morning. Light drizzle. And if I thought there were already a lot of scooters here, now it's rush hour. Two-wheelers everywhere. Where are the air pollution measuring points here? Doesn't matter. Let's go to Mai Chau.

As far as the eye can see, from Hanoi to Mai Chau, one rice field follows another, but unfortunately it's not planting season right now.

After a walk through the rice fields, a 'White Thai' family cooks for us. And then there's a dance performance. And what a surprise, we are 'allowed' to dance along at the end. Unfortunately, I stepped on the bamboo poles twice. Hopefully no 'Thai' was hurt. Since there was 'only' rice wine for food and dancing, we drank a few beers at the hotel to prevent dehydration.

Mot, Hai, Ba, yoooo! (in Vietnamese: one, two, three, cheers!).
