#Brazil 2018 Day 9

ຈັດພີມມາ: 02.11.2018

02.11.2018 Armacao dos Buzios

After waking up....a fantastic view of the sea, you can hear the waves and the seagulls. Unfortunately no ☀️ sun today. But maybe later.

View of Praia Jao Fernandes

The breakfast is okay, but we have had much better. Today we explore Buzios. It takes about 40 minutes on foot to get to the town. Buzios became known because Brigitte Bardot once vacationed here.

It is considered the Cote d'Azur of Brazil. It is absolutely safe here, and you can walk around in the dark.

A nice little town with many shops and bars.

The Brazilians walk around here in swimsuits and white tennis socks. The main thing is that the swimsuit is tight 🤦

We walk through the town and along the promenade. It's really lively here.

The weather is unfortunately not suitable for swimming, but it is dry and warm.

After a detour to the supermarket, we try to get a parking space on the promenade, which we succeed in doing. But where do we get the parking ticket from??? It's good that nobody here speaks English. 🤔 With hands and feet, we find out that apparently the traffic warden also sells parking tickets here. 100 m further we find them and buy a ticket.

Since we bought bread and cheese at the supermarket 🍞, we don't eat out today, but enjoy the view from the terrace.

It's nice that there are no Chinese tourists here, that's rare.

We actually spoke English with a waiter today. He is from Argentina and is currently working in Brazil, as it is worse in Argentina than in Brazil. I really feel sorry for the young people, they have no prospects.

Interestingly true 👍
