Today the alarm clock rang at half past 7. First of all, it was an unusual sound because I could sleep in for the past few weeks (luxury that I consciously took advantage of). After a final shower in Germany, I went to the airport where everything worked very quickly. Zap, I was checked in and then it was time to enjoy a last breakfast with Tim and Mama. We did this in the 'Food Plaza' of the airport with a view of my first aircraft. Then it was eventually time to say goodbye and board. The aircraft was still very new, it was only finished in June/July. Accordingly, it also looked like that. With cameras in front and under the aircraft, you could observe the entire route to Dubai. For the first time there was a menu card at the beginning of the flight and real cutlery for eating, i.e. no plastic cutlery, which really surprised me positively. A starry sky also created a pleasant flight atmosphere. The good 6.5-hour flight went by watching movies, listening to music, sleeping, eating, following the flight and observing the fellow passengers. It was a very pleasant flight, nothing was shaking.
Upon arrival in Dubai, the search for my connecting flight began, which I managed without any problems. On the way to the gate, I was able to get an ice cream, which was provided free of charge by the airline. Dubai airport is very large and it was interesting to make a mini stop there. The fashion chain h&m had a store at the gates, there were many places of worship, a trampoline park, and if you really want to get your Hard Rock Cafe glass, you don't even have to visit the cafe. There is a small stand at the gates. So you can prove that you were in Dubai just because of the transfer.
After about 20 minutes of looking around, it was time to go to the plane that was going to Singapore. The aircraft was almost identical to the first one. The flight mainly consisted of sleeping and eating. The entertainment on the entire flight was dedicated to twins (about 2 years old) who kept many passengers awake. However, I fully understood, so it didn't bother me at all.
After arriving in Singapore, I went through immigration properly, got my luggage again, and then it was time to find my way to the accommodation. That wasn't easy at all. I got a train ticket from the tourist information. I still think that was somehow strange. Well. After that, I withdrew some money because my hostel requires a deposit. She has received it now :)
Finding the right train from Singapore airport turned out to be like a labyrinth, but now I'm sitting in the hostel after about 1 hour and waiting to check-in. I'm quite tired, but my goal is to reach 8 pm so that I can make the most of tomorrow.
