So now Livorno!

By train from Firenze Centrale to Livorno Centrale, 1.25 hours for 10.40 Euros, the German railway could learn a thing or two from that!

In Livorno, I took the bus to Scali degli Olivanda, my guesthouse is right by one of the canals that run through Livorno. There are boats everywhere, small and large motorboats and rowboats.

The small hotel is really nice, my room is furnished with beautiful old furniture, cozy and very comfortable, you can feel at home here. I went out to explore Livorno right away, this city is very lively, Italian loud and bustling. Several cruise ships are in the harbor, the sun glistens on the blue sea, I bought an ice cream with three! flavors for 4 Euros and enjoyed it relaxed while sitting on a wall. The sun was shining on my face and I felt like I had arrived in Tuscany.

After a long stroll through the city, I ate well and cheaply in the small bar on the corner and then just relaxed and planned a bit for tomorrow. What I have planned will not be revealed yet.😉

Insight of the day: sometimes the good is so close - the bar on the corner
