Today was the last day and we had to be at the airport at 4 p.m., also it was raining. We took a one-hour boat tour at 'las trés fronteras' and then got a ride to the airport. We went under the old bridge that leads from Brazil to Paraguay, saw a small waterfall and a fishing boat, and saw the three viewpoints from the water. The rusty ship used to be a hotel and casino and is being renovated, but apparently it is taking longer than the ship can rust...

Originally, we wanted to go to the city, but there isn't much left after Covid... many shops are closed and everything looks a bit run down. Our driver said that most people didn't survive Covid, since this place relies on tourism, which is not here... There are still some restaurants, but many had to close down... everything is a bit sad...

There was no one at the airport except for us, since we were there so early. 2 hours before departure, a tour bus arrived, but apparently only one plane was flying...

In Buenos Aires, we were not allowed to get off the plane, even though we were sitting in the front, because we were supposed to wait for Lea's wheelchair, which was then simply thrown into the luggage cart and ended up on the baggage carousel instead of with us at the airplane. Then we forgot the seat cushion on the plane and someone from the crew had to go and look for it, because we were already inside the building... it was all a bit chaotic, but in the end, everything worked out and we arrived back in BA safely :)
