On Monday we visited Lake Wanaka.
There is the famous tree that took 70 years to reach its current size.
After a short hike around the lake, we continued to Mount Aspiring National Park.
There we saw incredibly turquoise water.
We walked on the suspension bridge to the stone towers.
Surrounded by people trying to flip stones on the water. 😁
After a 2-hour walk, we headed back.
The next day, we went to the Pancake Rocks.
A 40-minute walk along the sea. We had a little photo session at the waterfall.
A picture is worth a thousand words.
On the following Sunday, we will take the ferry to the North Island. And we will explore it for 2 weeks until our next flight.
