August Blog ☀️🌳

ຈັດພີມມາ: 06.09.2023

Hey hey! 😊

Here comes the August blog. Not too long, as not much is happening at the moment. 😂As you can probably imagine, it's still the semester break. Things won't continue until October 2nd. 😅

But I can't wait to tell you what we have to implement in the new semester. Now we get it on September 15th. our results from last semester. Now in the 3rd semester we had to choose a focus. There was the option to choose politics, sport, medicine, environment or culture & lifestyle. Anyone who knows me knows what I choose. ☺️ Hopefully I'll get to my desired focus. You'll hear that in the September blog.

Shortly after my trip to America at the end of July/beginning of August, I went to the large Brombachsee with someone from my shared apartment to swim and enjoy the day. 👙☀️

On August 23rd Then, like in the last blog entry, I went home to my family for a week. Always nice to hold my little niece in my arms🤱🏼, look after my sister's guinea pigs or do things together.

And et voila… it’s already September. 😅😉 At the moment I'm just working. Sometimes there are days when there isn't much going on. Like yesterday... working hours feel longer than if you were busy. But well, retail. You never know beforehand how people will arrive.

At the end of September we go home again. My brother and sister-in-law are moving. I'll help a little with that. 😄 I also have my first class reunion. Since we didn't have a graduation party due to Corona, we're now making up for it a bit on September 30th. I'm curious to see where everyone ended up. Who is studying what, who has been abroad, etc.

Then I'll tell you a little in advance. After the class reunion, my mom will come with me to the beautiful south of Germany. She visits me in my new home for a week. 🤗

A few days later my sister comes down to me for a few days. 🙃 She hasn't been with me in Bavaria yet.

At the end of October, for my birthday, my mom is coming again for a while. We will then go to a conference together in Stuttgart at the beginning of November. 😊

A few days ago I was playing mini golf with a friend from the church. Then we were at Altmühlsee in Gunzenhausen. So the Brombachsee offers better areas for swimming than the Altmühlsee. It's not as overgrown and has less algae. 👍🏻

On Sunday we had a baptism in our church. 10 people were baptized. I still remember my baptism in 2014. It was a really long time ago, but it is never too late to decide for Jesus. The baptism took place at the swimming pond in Burgoberbach. ☺️

A lot has also changed in the shared apartment. While I currently live alone in the large house, four young women are preparing to move in in mid/late September. One is even studying the same thing as me. 😂 However, that’s when she starts.

Among the women there are two trainee teachers who will only stay for six months. The last young woman originally comes from the Ivory Coast and will also study in Ansbach. I call our shared apartment the “in-out shared apartment”. 😂 Very few people stay here for a long time. There are only three left who were there from the beginning.

All right, now you know what's going to be going on with me in the next few weeks. Work, then soon back to university and lots of visitors. 😅😂 I now have an air mattress for guests. 😁👍🏻

See you in September blog my dears. 🫶🏻

Among the women are again two trainee teachers, who again only stay for half a year. The last young woman is originally from the Ivory Coast and will also study in Ansbach. I call our shared apartment the "in-out shared apartment". 😂 Very few people stay here for a long time. There are only three left who have been with us from the beginning.

Until the September blog my dears. 🫶🏻
