From Pilar de Horadada, where we stayed overnight in a really huge beach parking lot (imagine it's very crowded in the summer! And there's another one right next to it, just as big), we continue towards Cartagena.
From there, we want to drive along the coast. Now that we are in Andalusia, we can take our time. In the motorhome route book, we find a nice beach spot. We'll head there for breakfast. And it's really beautiful there! Just a few Spaniards - it's Sunday after all - and two other motorhomes are with us. We test the Omnia and bake a baguette. Works great! Thanks Eckart!
Then we decide to try our luck at a campsite today. I urgently need power for my laptop, answer a few inquiries, and we're in luck. In Aguilas, we get a spot in the parking lot. Otherwise, the place is full...
After an extensive walk into the city, where we find a really cool restaurant with mega lamps (Nobbe can already start thinking about it), the first Cortado (sometimes also called Karracho), and a beer, we cook Moussaka in the Omnia. Since it takes quite a while, we don't eat until nine, but we're in Spain after all. Everything is done later in the evening, we also realize in the city. At four o'clock, when we started, there were hardly any people out, but from five o'clock, everything was full.
A little look back at yesterday. According to the motorhome book, there are nice parking spaces in La Marina. The parking spaces were awful! Packed like sardine cans - we don't want to go there at all.... And the shopping experience was also a real experience. We march into the supermarket, at the entrance a stand with English newspapers, the shelves full of English products. Only English! Even the potatoes were from England! The staff British, the customers as well. There must be a whole settlement for there to be such a supermarket. We don't find what we want and try it at Lidl.... ;)
There we feel at home. Store layout familiar, Spanish products, that works. At the entrance, we are immediately approached by a woman (motorhome with Konstanz license plate) who talks to us almost non-stop. Let's get out of here!
