After 2 weeks, we are on our way again. We start relatively aimlessly, visit the first place and quickly realize that we don't want to stay there. In addition, we don't get the Acsi Card 2022 here, which we urgently need. So we continue driving and spontaneously choose a small spot right by the sea. When we arrive, we see a sign hanging outside that says 'Completo full'. Well, let's go to the 3rd place then. We end up on a small site at Esteponia 'Camping Parque Tropical', which still has a few small spots available. We stay for 2 nights and then continue along the coast. We arrive in Torrox and are allowed to choose a spot. The clichés are quickly fulfilled. Many German winter visitors. Torrox basically consists of 3 districts: 'Torrox Park', 'Torrox Costa' and 'Torrox'. We are in Torrox Park, amidst a beautiful residential area. Every walk offers a view of the Mediterranean Sea, and you can see infinitely far. You also discover many German surnames on the mailboxes and on the houses. About 3000 Germans are said to live in Torrox, as it has the best climate in all of Europe. A walk on the beach promenade reflects this completely. German bakers, German sausage shops, German medical center, and German hairdressers... Somehow, it all seems a bit strange. The average age is rather high, and after a while, you start feeling a bit like in Germany. Although we think that you can live well here in old age. Rental prices are currently relatively low compared to the prices we know in Göttingen and the surrounding area.
After 5 nights, we're on the move again, heading towards Germany. The next stop is on a small site near Almeria, where you can park right by the beach. Let's see if we can still get a spot there...
