The rain doesn't stop, but you can't change the rain. I make my way to the hotel. When I arrive, I first take off my rain poncho. And who is sitting on the couch in the lobby: Michael from Munich, who I've probably met four times now. We chat for a bit and then we have to wait for our bus. The employee at PeroHop is very friendly.
Before the last trip I can already say that PeroHop, the bus company, was really worth it. You can stay at each location as long as you want. And everything will be taken care of. The disadvantage is that the travel times are fixed and sometimes you would prefer to leave in the evening, depending on what you are doing, but you have to leave in the morning. But I think for my next trip to Peru I would book it on my own. Just like with activities. You could have booked a lot of things yourself or just one trip, such as the Canon Tour, but you have to plan well beforehand.
We are taken to the bus in the van. It's the normal PeroHop and luckily the bus isn't full. I position myself at the back and have two seats for myself. Let's see how and if I can sleep. I'm not actually hungry, but I still have snacks with me in case of emergency. According to the plan, we arrive at 5 a.m. tomorrow. I'm excited and will be in touch tomorrow from Cusco.
