Today, the bucket list was reduced a little bit. I was on the mountain of the Great Wall of China in Mutianyu. Honestly, I never thought beforehand whether this would be tiring ๐Ÿค”. But believe me, it is unbelievably exhausting. I wouldn't do it again at the age of 50 ๐Ÿ˜‚. Apparently, the construction standards 700 years ago were not as strict, so each of the over 6,000! steps has a different height ๐Ÿ™ˆ (up to 80cm per step๐Ÿ˜ณ). Anyone who gets up here without stumbling, sweating, and taking breaks, something is not right with them ๐Ÿ˜‚. In total, I walked up the stairs for 3 hours ๐Ÿ˜ณ. However, it is also a very sublime feeling to stand at the top and take out a triumphant beer from my backpack ๐Ÿบ. And we went down with the summer toboggan run ๐Ÿ˜.

The evening is now ending in the Beijing Northwest Lake area, a huge bar and street food district ๐Ÿ˜‹. With a freshly poured Erdinger beer ๐Ÿ™ˆ and live Chinese pop music ๐Ÿ˜‚. However, this is well deserved due to the muscle soreness that awaits me tomorrow ๐Ÿ˜Š.

As for food, today I also treated myself to the outstanding Peking duck and Peking soup. Due to various language barriers, the soup was slightly oversized ๐Ÿ˜‚. In between, I had to stop at a nice tea house as well ๐Ÿต.

Now it's time to finish the drinks and head to the airport, where my flight to Hanoi will depart at 01:30 am in 4.5 hours. So, once again, no sleep tonight ๐Ÿ™„...
