Hamningberg

49th Stage: Vadsø - Hamningberg: From Vadsø to Vardø is only a short distance - we are getting used to distances that we consider long at home. On a small tour, we explore the town, which boasts several superlatives: the easternmost Norwegian city, home to the northernmost fortress in the world, reached through Norway's first underwater tunnel; the European Route 75 ends here, which starts in Crete; there is also a museum that recalls witch burnings, polar expeditions, and World War II. We continue to Hamningberg, where we find another beautiful spot, in the neighborhood of a reindeer herd.
