Yesterday it was finally time!!! I was allowed to visit the set of the series 'McLeod's Daughters'. The night before was quite short due to my excitement. I loved this series and I still do today. And it was... legendary. 7 hours full of filming locations. The absolute highlight was of course Drovers Run itself. That's where most of the series took place. I felt like I was there. Our guide Dal contributed a lot to that. She definitely knew every episode by heart and could list scenes for every tree. We had lunch at the Gungallen Pub, I saw THE bathtub next to THE windmill. So exciting. I'm sure everyone else thinks I'm crazy... But it was definitely worth it!
Afterwards, we stayed with an acquaintance of a friend's sister from home. Cool guy! After a few beers, we fell into bed. Woken up by a thunderstorm this morning, we packed our things and made our way to Cape Jervis via Victor Harbor. Great weather - not. April Fool's... Oh no. It's already May^^ from here, we'll be going to Kangaroo Island for 2 days tomorrow. Let's not talk about the announced weather... Just so much: I bought a hat and scarf. Now we're waiting for the dryer and then off to bed. We're starting pretty early tomorrow. Goodnight world!
