I traveled from Amsterdam to Brussels in the morning. The journey was quick and I arrived in the Belgian capital before noon. I first went to the hostel I had booked. There, I dropped off my backpack and walked back into the city. I explored the alternating narrow and wide streets with the impressive old buildings. Brussels is very busy, and among the people in suits, you can spot cafes where the youth meet for a Blonde beer and spend the afternoon.
I sat down in one of the cafes and struck up a conversation with a group of Belgian students. They told me what it's like to study in Belgium and about their hometowns (Bruges, Antwerp, and Ulaanbaatar). Later, we parted ways and I returned to the hostel.
In the hostel, I played billiards with a traveler from Austria and then we went for a beer. As the evening turned into night, we returned to the hostel.
