The night in the 30-bed room was surprisingly good 😅😀 I didn't think there would ever be peace and quiet... But eventually the lights went out and everyone fell asleep 👍
Our bus didn't leave until 3 p.m., so we had some time to spend in Brisbane. This time, we were in the 'South Bank' district and were totally impressed. First, we visited the Gallery of Modern Art (free admission). Afterwards, while strolling around, we stumbled upon a completely free public pool / artificial beach. They called it the Lagoon. It was also really nice there! And from there, you could take a free ferry to another district, which we also visited. My conclusion: You can do many great things there for free, something that some German cities could learn from 😝
We were freezing in the bus to Noosa! The air conditioning in the buses is always set extremely cold!
In Noosa, we were lucky to be picked up from the hostel by a shuttle bus. The walk would have been very tiring! We didn't see anything of the city. The hostel is very nice! It's like a lodge, very open and with several verandas. In the evening, there were Halloween games... We participated and got to know some new people, but once again, mostly Germans. 😜
