California: Big Sur

After a whole 4 days, we finally have Wifi in the hotel again! So from now on, we can share our impressions of the last days with you.

After Monterey, we continued on the Historical Route No. 1 towards the south.

On our drive through the Big Sur National Park, we stopped several times on the side of the road to capture the beautiful beaches, cliffs, bridges, and bays in photos. However, the pictures do not do justice to the reality.

Due to the bad winter of 2016/17, a part of the route was damaged and various sections of the road were closed for reconstruction. So for us, the Big Sur viewpoint was the end, and we had to drive the entire route back and use Highway 101 to Morro Bay. Once in Morro Bay, we found a motel and ended up staying at the Ecologe.
