The start of our big trip in Munich went completely smoothly. The S-Bahn was on time, the Christmas market in front of the airport was hardly attended at 9:30 a.m. and both the baggage drop-off and the security check were completed quickly. Afterwards we relaxed and enjoyed our obligatory airport departure beer.
The flight was extremely long at 11 hours and 20 minutes and sleeping didn't work either. But we arrived safely, got our luggage very quickly and were immediately overwhelmed trying to find the right exit. We changed trains three times to get to the hotel and staggered into the entrance area, a little overwhelmed by the 30 degrees. There was immediately a refreshing welcome.
We were not allowed to sit down for the rest of the day because then our eyes would close. We explored the surrounding area and slept for 2 hours before dinner.
We are excited to see what awaits us next!

Die Hotelanlage sieht ja klasse aus. Ich dachte, da gäbe es nur so futuristische, total große Bettenburgen! Wie toll! Da ihr keine Worte für den Weihnachtsbaum findet 😝 helfe ich da sehr gerne aus… er ist äußerst entzückend, ganz wunderbar, so herrlich kitschig, so unglaublich furchtbar, dass er schon wieder schön ist.
Wir freuen uns sehr für euch, dass bisher alles so gut geklappt habt. Wenn ihr ausgeschlafen seid viel Spaß bei euren Erkundungen, liebe Grüße aus der Handballarena von uns beiden ☺️☺️ A&A

@ Kari: Du weißt doch einer von uns hatte Angst im 20. Stock zu landen ;-) und beide hatten wir die Hoffnung so am Abend der Großstadt mit den vielen Menschen zu entfliehen. Das klappt super :-)
