After we got up, we decided to have breakfast outside because the place is so great. It turned out to be the right decision because while we were having breakfast, a whole herd of beluga whales swam past us. We could even see the young whales with their gray color next to their snow-white parents. After breakfast, we drove to Hope, a "town" with about 10 houses. We walked around and watched the fishermen fishing. I talked to one fisherman and he told me that he only fishes for fun because the quality of the fish is already too poor and his fridge is already full. After a few hours in Hope, we headed to the starting point of the rafting tour. We got our equipment, consisting of a helmet, life jacket, and dry suit. Later it turned out that these suits were anything but dry... Then we started the seemingly most challenging rafting tour in North America. The tour lasted almost four hours and went through three canyons. In the first canyon, our raft capsized in a rapid. After about four hours, we arrived back at the motorhome, overjoyed and full of adrenaline. It was incredibly fun. In the evening, we drove for about another hour before finding a place to sleep on a plateau. We made another campfire here and enjoyed the view of the mountains illuminated in red during sunset.
