Perdana Botanical Garden

ຈັດພີມມາ: 25.08.2019

After having a lot of nature yesterday, we felt like...a bit more nature ;) Today we had planned a round in the Botanical Garden, a pretty big park where you can also find the Bird Park and the Butterfly Park, for example. Unfortunately, we had to find the entrance to the park first, which wasn't easy at all. We walked quite a long way (and probably took a really complicated detour) until we finally arrived. First, we stood in front of the Bird Park. However, the entrance fee there is so high that you should spend a bit more time inside, and it was already too late for that. So we continued walking and suddenly found ourselves in the Orchid and Hibiscus Garden! Unfortunately, only a few orchids were blooming, but it's still a beautiful garden. Although I like orchids more, I liked the Hibiscus Garden better simply because there were more flowers. Besides, there was a 'enchanted' little house in the middle, which was pretty cool. And as Malaysia's national flower, you simply have to like the hibiscus here ;) but it's also a really beautiful garden. From there, we finally entered the main park, where we strolled around a bit and our passion for photography emerged again. How long one can stand still to photograph a dragonfly...good thing we're all a bit crazy about it :D We also found the Deer Park, but there were mainly chickens and only one enclosure with deer, and it wasn't particularly big either. You can walk through it, but you don't have to. Especially because there are quite a lot of stairs! My legs were really feeling it the last few days. That's why we sat down by the lake and rested once we found it. On the map, it looks really huge, but it wasn't that big. To end the day, we went back to Little India, once we found the way back again. It was much shorter than the way there, too bad I don't remember the route anymore... In Little India, we went to the same restaurant as last time, simply because it's pretty cool and we knew it tasted good. And it was great again! And with the portion size, I even had some leftovers :D Well, I like to try new things, but I could also try everything in that restaurant! I still have a little time for that ;) Now I'm back home with really heavy legs and getting ready for school, so I'm going back to everyday life.
